ZIP Archive Tools

Create, extract, and inspect ZIP archives entirely in-browser via JSZip — build a ZIP from multiple files with per-file paths and DEFLATE/STORE compression, extract or download individual entries from an existing archive, and inspect a read-only folder-tree summary.

Add as many files as you like — everything zips entirely in-browser

Each file's path within the archive defaults to its name and can be edited to place it in a subfolder (e.g. src/utils/helper.js). DEFLATE compresses (level 1 = fastest / largest, 9 = slowest / smallest); STORE copies files in unchanged, useful for already-compressed content like JPEGs or other ZIPs.

Frequently asked questions

How do I unzip a file in the browser?

Open the Extract tab and load the .zip. You can extract everything or download individual entries.

Can I see what is inside a ZIP before extracting it?

Yes, the Inspect tab shows a read-only folder tree with entry sizes.

Does it open password-protected ZIPs?

No. The underlying library does not support ZIP decryption, so encrypted archives cannot be opened.

Can I choose the compression method when creating a ZIP?

Yes, the Create tab lets you set per-file paths and choose DEFLATE or STORE compression.

Is my data uploaded to a server?

No. This tool runs entirely in your browser — your input is processed locally on your device and is never uploaded or stored on a server.
